Oluwaseun Adetayo, Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in surgical practice and instruction.

Hailing from Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Adetayo immigrated to the United States in 1998. She obtained a Medical Doctor in 2006 from the Pritzker School of Medicine at The University of Chicago and subsequently served a residency in integrated plastic surgery in 2012 from Loma Linda University in California and a fellowship in pediatric and craniofacial plastic surgery from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Adetayo then excelled as a physician with the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York from 2013 to 2019 and chief of pediatric plastic surgery with Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska from 2020 to the present. In addition, she has imparted her knowledge as a professor in the Department of Surgery of the University of Nebraska Medical Center since 2020.

Dr. Adetayo attributes her success to her strong faith and perseverance. She is especially proud of the impact she is making in her patients’ lives. Moreover, she cites her success as an African female and immigrant thriving in an extremely competitive field, as well as her rank in the top three percent of surgeons in the country. In the coming years, Dr. Adetayo would like to continue her success in plastic surgery and also intends to continue to develop herself as a coach and speaker, as she is filled with desire to inspire others to help them further.
