She professed an interest in dental prosthetics during her childhood and examined her grandparents’ dentures, looking at the purpose, build, appearance and structure. Later in life, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry and furthered her education to later include prosthetic dentistry.
Changing the lives of the students as an educator has been Dr. Manasse’s most notable accomplishment. She hopes that the students she’s reached become the next academicians of tomorrow. There are many different students who enroll in their program at the New York University College of Dentistry, and when she hears their success stories and learns that she was able to make a difference in their lives it is something that truly resonates with her. In the coming years, Dr. Manasse is hoping for more leadership opportunities on a grander scale in terms of creating more outreach for students so that they can paired with mentorship programs and desires her practice to be a vehicle for others to become mentors and to grow professionally as dental practitioners.
