He maintains a California state medical license, which has been active since 2003. He began his education with coursework at Citrus College in Glendora, California. He subsequently continued his education at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California and transferred to California State University, Fullerton to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology. He secured his medical degree in 2000 from University of California Irvine and completed a residency in internal medicine from 2000 to 2003 at St. Mary Medical Center.

Dr. Moreno specializes in internal medicine and general medicine. He attributes his success to his natural empathy and compassion, traits that all good physicians need. He was inspired to go into medicine by his grandfather, a physician who was active in treating patients in rural communities. He has followed in his grandfather’s footsteps by assisting the patients who need care the most. His most notable career accomplishment, to him, was treating patients during the pandemic that gripped the world in 2020. His clinic stayed open through most of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to provide health services to people suffering from the virus.

Dr. Moreno plans to become a motivational speaker in the future and will continue to provide health services to patients. He hopes to also spread information about the important of vaccines and their use in combating COVID-19. He was personally affected by the virus and became extremely ill, being treated while on life support and receiving a lung transplant that kept him alive. This event gave him a life-changing experience with the virus and he has used this to become a better physician.

As a specialist in internal medicine, Dr. Moreno provides healing and treatment for his patients and for their family members. He believes that the total approach to treatment and providing continuing care to patients is the most important aspect of his medical practice. He is active in his community, donating to under-funded clinics and homeless shelters.
