Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. LaGree pursued an education at the University at Buffalo, from which he earned Bachelor of Applied Science in biomedical sciences with a minor in pharmacology in 2014. He concluded his formal academic efforts at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2020, having graduated with a DDS, with honors. Following these accomplishments, Dr. LaGree completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Beyond his primary responsibilities within the field, Dr. LaGree has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He notably contributed to Dental Clinical Pearls as a monthly article author, a post in which he writes tips and tricks for other pediatric dentists. Furthermore, Dr. LaGree maintains his association with the National Honor Society.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. LaGree has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career. He has been proudly recognized as Woodstock’s Best Pediatric Dentist in 2021 and Atlanta’s Top Doctor in 2022. Likewise, he has been presented with the Ronald Baskin Award, an Award honoring his community outreach work and a number of commendations for success in pediatric dentistry. Attributing his success to the personal and professional support of his wife, Dr. LaGree is incredibly grateful of his efforts with Chimp Refugee, a project in which he focuses on the oral health of more than 80 chimpanzees, and he hopes to continue to grow his pediatric dental office within his community in the years to come.
