Dr. Licuanan has additionally found success as a competitive jiu-jitsu martial artist. He also remains active in his community and believes in lifelong learning and education. Since 2012, he has served as a volunteer group facilitator for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) helping families get their struggling loved ones into treatment.
