Attributing her success to her family and to her colleagues for their encouragement and support, Dr. Honer became involved in her profession because of her passion to help others, particularly the less fortunate, to become better. She considers her career highlight to be her maintenance of a staff of 200 and more with a high success rate for patient satisfaction, as well as completing her doctorate degree from Columbia Southern University in 2021. It was an eight-year program and she was able to complete it in four and a half years. To her, it was also a tedious and a rigorous process as she had to defend her research in front of four doctors and had to provide them satisfactory answers within a specific time frame to pass the program. In the coming years, Dr. Honer hopes to become an online professor for less fortunate and underprivileged students, be it nationally or internationally.
