Originally hailing from India, Dr. Dutt obtained a Medical Doctor in 1976 from Indira Gandhi Medical College in Himachal Pradesh, India. She later completed a residency in pediatrics with Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1993 and a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology with the University of California Irvine in 1994. Dr. Dutt is certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and holds a California state medical license.
Currently, Dr. Dutt provides superior care as a pediatric pulmonologist with Children’s Health of Orange County, diagnosing and treating diseases of the respiratory system in children. She has served as chief resident with Driscoll Children’s Hospital and garnered teaching awards from 2007 to 2018 with a Pediatric Residency Program as well as a Circle of Care Award from premier insurance agency CalOptima.
Dr. Dutt attributes her success to her parents for working very hard and being dedicated in educating her and her siblings. As her most notable achievement she cites the gratification of working in pediatrics in the United States. For her dedication she has received multiple awards, including some teaching awards from the hospital where she is currently working. Despite being in the retirement age, Dr. Dutt still intends to continue providing care to special needs cases because they put their trust in her. Because of that, she wants to work for another few years, as long as she can, until they become adults.
