Dr. Salem later continued his education with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Presently, Dr. Salem is providing superior care as a physical therapist for Integrated Rehab & Physical Therapy P.C. DBA American Manual Therapy and Healing Is Us Inc. in Brooklyn, where he utilizes manual therapy and other techniques to treat pains and functions for the whole body of his patients. In recognition for his expertise, he has been honored for outstanding leadership, commitment and support in the battle against cancer. Dr. Salem was also presented with a Conference Award from the Clinical Application of Scientific Innovation. As a physical therapist administrator, his practice employs manual therapy and other techniques to treat pains and functions for the entire body.
To remain aware of changes and innovation in his field of expertise, Dr. Salem maintains affiliations with the American College of Physicians, the American Physical Therapists Association, Egyptian Physical Therapists in United States, International Alliance for Healthcare Educators and the Barral Institute. In addition to his primary responsibilities, Dr. Salem has written articles for Life Magazine and also created educational videos and offers a 5-DVD series containing more than 65 educational videos. He also authored a book with the same title “Treat Your Pain Restore Your Function with Manual Therapy Techniques.” Most of the information is based on scientific theories and concepts of the most prominent manual experts worldwide on treating pain and restoring body function with manual therapy techniques.
Dr. Salem has taught in various countries around the world about the importance of manual and lifestyle therapy. He has also trained with physical therapy experts in several countries.
