Dr. Roomi’s professional associations include the American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Association. Since 2018, she has served as president of the Mandaean Medical Professionals Association, an organization of physicians who practice the Mandaean religion that originated in what is the present-day Iraq.
Desiring to be a physician since she was very young and was treated at doctor’s offices, Dr. Roomi asserts that as a doctor, she has never worked a day in her life. In coming years, she intends to continue to excel with her practice at Emerson Hospital and would like to be more involved in medical education.
