Simon S. Oh, Chief Clinical Officer and Chief of Implantology at Capstone Dental Group and Dental Health Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in dental implant surgery.

After initially obtaining a Bachelor of Science in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2008, Dr. Oh continued his education with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in 2012. He was trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, receiving extensive inpatient and outpatient training in conditions ranging from impacted wisdom teeth and dental implants to major facial reconstructive surgery and serving as a resident with Hahnemann from 2012 to 2014.

Since 2017, Dr. Oh has provided superior dental care as a chief dental officer with Capstone Dental Group and Dental Health Associates, overlooking clinical operations of more than 100 dentists and dental specialists. In addition, he serves as a chief clinical officer with PG Dental and chief of implantology with ProSmile, the largest network of affiliated multi-specialty dental practices in New Jersey, with an expanding footprint in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Dr. Oh’s specialties include dental implant surgery, zygomatic implants and bone regeneration.

Among Dr. Oh’s honors include his selection as Top Dentist by Philadelphia Magazine in 2019 and 2020 and his inclusion in Top 40 Dentists Under 40 in the United States by Incisal Edge Magazine in 2020. In addition, he was voted by peers as “Top Doc” by Philadelphia Magazine for implantology each year from 2019 to 2022. His professional memberships include the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association, the advisory board of Dental Implant Companies; in addition, he is chief clinical officer of AFP Industries’ Investment Fund.

While growing up, Dr. Oh had numerous dental problems and his dentist inspired him by the way he took care of him and became a family friend. Thus, he entered dentistry to work with his hands, interact with people and make meaningful changes in people’s lives. In the coming years, Dr. Oh wishes to be on the cutting edge, working with engineers and implant companies to help develop the next generation of maxillary implants.
