Atul D. Trivedi, Director of Echocardiography Lab at St. Mary Physician Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in cardiology.
Following coursework in interscience at the Jai Hind College and Basant Singh Institute of Science in Mumbai, India from 1973 to 1975, Dr. Trivedi obtained Bachelors of Medicine and Science (MBBS) from Grant Medical College in Mumbai in 1981. He then served a residency and postgraduate and cardiology fellowship with Episcopal Hospital – Temple University Program in Philadelphia from 1981 to 1986, later serving as director of the hospital’s noninvasive lab from 1986 to 1988.
Dr. Trivedi provided superior care as a cardiologist with HeartCare Associates of Connecticut from 1988 to 2006 and with Comprehensive Cardiology Consultants in Langhorne, Pennsylvania from 2007 to the present. In addition, he has served as director of the echocardiography lab with St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne since 2001. Dr. Trivedi performs all aspects of non-interventional cardiology, which includes seeing patients both in the hospital and the office, performs stress tests, echocardiography, nuclear stress tests and all aspects of cardiology which are mostly clinical.
Dr. Trivedi’s professional associations include the American College of Cardiology, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Bucks County Medical Society, American Society of Nuclear-Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography, American Medical Association, Case Management Committee, Pharmaceutical Committee and Heart Failure Committee. He has been named Top Doctor by Philadelphia Magazine every year from 2016 to 2020.
Attributing his success to good intentions, hard work, doing the best quality of service, availability for his patients, and honesty to self and to patients, Dr. Trivedi in the coming years is hoping for the continued success of his practice and possibly some teaching. He was inspired to enter the medical field because his sister was an OB-GYN and became a role model; and caring for his father after he had suffered a heart attack at age 55 prompted Dr. Trivedi to enter the medical field and concentrate on heart health.
