He has been recognized among the Top Physicians in Pittsburgh on two occasions. Dr. Passarelli attributes his success to listening to his patients and taking as much time as needed to treat them. He became involved in his profession because his mother, a nurse, passed away from osteoporosis. When she fell and got injured, she dislocated her shoulder. He was immediately able to help her, which eventually led him to focus on orthopedics. The highlight of his career was the birth of his first child. In the coming years, Dr. Passarelli hopes to remain still clinically active and treating patients.
