Dr. Adeoye is recognized as a quintessential clinician in the field of psychiatry, child and adolescent neuropsychiatry, pediatrics, neurology, genetics, neurodevelopmental disorders and addiction medicine. Since 2005, he has excelled as the chief executive officer and medical director with Elemental Center Ltd. in Orland Park, with which he specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorders, generalized anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, chemical dependency, and other psychoses that affect children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, Dr. Adeoye served as chief of addiction medicine with Hartgrove Behavioral Health System in Chicago from 2017 to 2019.
Dr. Adeoye initially obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria in 1992 and medical licensure in the state of Illinois, Indiana, and Texas. He subsequently completed a psychiatry residency program and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Institute for Juvenile research, all at the University of Illinois Chicago between 1998 and 2003. Dr. Adeoye is further certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Adeoye considers his most notable achievement to have been becoming a father. Additionally, he finds great pride in the Elemental Center’s work in treating patients with intellectual disabilities, comorbid mood disorders, psychosis, and substance abuse disorders. In the coming years, his goal is to expand his practice significantly into neuropsychiatry, addictions, trauma with QEEGs, neurofeedback, integrative neuroscience, psychedelics and holistic interventions in psychiatry and neurology.
