After watching his mother excel as a midwife and delivery nurse, Dr. Jeffrey drew inspiration from her in pursuing a career as an obstetrician-gynecologist. Upon earning a Bachelor of Science in biology from Florida State University, he went on to attain a master’s degree in public health, epidemiology and biostatistics from Florida A&M University and a Doctor of Medicine from the Florida State University College of Medicine in 2016. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at LAC/USC Medical Center Women’s Pediatric Hospital, and entered practice in 2020.
Since 2020, Dr. Jeffrey has excelled as a high-risk OB/GYN at Memorial Regional Hospital, where he specializes in caring for patients with many complications of pregnancy. This includes high-risk pregnancies, fetal abnormalities, and treating patients with chronic health conditions including hypertension, diabetes, lupus, obesity, sickle cell disease, asthma and heart disease. He also provides care for women with general and high-risk gynecologic needs, as well as gynecologic emergencies.
As part of his commitment to professional growth, Dr. Jeffrey maintains membership with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is also involved in clinical research at the University of Miami and was the recipient of the Medical Student Teaching Award from the University of South Carolina. Looking ahead, Dr. Jeffrey hopes to continue to grow and expand his work at the Memorial Regional Hospital and also eventually take on a leadership position. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing basketball and spending time with his daughter. Earlier, Dr. Jeffrey served as a basketball coach for ages eight to 17 at the City of Pembroke Pines YMCA for eight years and dabbled in stand-up comedy.
