Dr. Harish “Hash” C . Chintapalli, Staff Neuroradiologist at VA Hospital Houston, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in neuroradiology.
A respected physician, Dr. Chintapalli is employed by the VA Medical Center in Houston, where he specializes in neuroradiology. In this capacity, he focuses on evaluating and diagnosing disorders and abnormalities of the brain, head and neck, and spine. Dr. Chintapalli collaborates with multiple other specialties including neurosurgery, neurology, and hematology/oncology. In addition to caring for his patients, Dr. Chintapalli helps train new physicians as an assistant professor in radiology for the Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Chintapalli received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Texas A&M University in 1992 and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 1997.
Dr. Chintapalli began his radiology career in private practice. After garnering great experience, he decided to accept an offer and the opportunity to work for the VA health system. Dr. Chintapalli was inspired to follow his father’s example, a retired physician who worked for the VA for several decades. Dr. Chintapalli is honored to serve those who served.
Outside of his primary career endeavors, Dr. Chintapalli enjoys spending his free time with his two daughters. He teaches his daughters the importance of setting goals and not giving up when things don’t go your way. He wants his girls to learn the importance of giving to those who are less fortunate and paying it forward.
To stay current with the latest advances in neuroradiology, Dr. Chintapalli is actively involved in continuing medical education, conferences, and multidisciplinary tumor boards. Looking toward the future, Dr. Chintapalli hopes to continue making an impact in his field, while also making wonderful memories with his children.
