She previously worked in a similar capacity at a podiatric medical center from 1984 until 1997 after completing her residency in podiatric medicine at the J.A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, Florida, in 1984. Likewise, Dr. Ottinger served as an active podiatric staff member at the Augusta University Medical Center.
Dr. Ottinger earned a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University in 1978 and studied at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, where she obtained a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1983. Committed to ongoing excellence and continuing education, Dr. Ottinger is a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Ottinger is a Fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons and the author of “Podiatric Dermatology,” 1986. She is a professional member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association. Active in her community, Dr. Ottinger sits on the advisory board for Concerts with a Cause, a charitable group that hosts a series of free concerts for the benefit of local service organizations.
