Raised by a father who worked as a general surgeon, Dr. Griebie had always felt inspired to pursue a career in healthcare. He obtained a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Science from the University of Minnesota in 1982 and 1987, respectively. He completed residencies in otolaryngology at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1983 and the University of Minnesota in 1987. Moreover, he is certified to practice medicine by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Since establishing himself at ENT Specialists in 1987, Dr. Griebie has contributed to a team of passionate otolaryngologists, audiologists, speech-language pathologist, nurses and other healthcare professionals who are expertly trained in the treatment of conditions involving the head, neck, throat, nose and ears.
For over 30 years, Dr. Griebie has specialized in disorders of the head and neck ranging from hearing loss to cancer. Prior to his career with ENT Specialty Care, he had lent his expertise to Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Children’s Minnesota Hospital – Minneapolis and the North Memorial Medical Center. In addition to his status as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has maintained his affiliation with the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association and Phi Beta Kappa. Throughout the course of his career, he is proud to have contributed various articles to professional journals. Above all, Dr. Griebie enjoys caring for children, especially preventing hearing loss and assisting in their communicative needs.
