Dr. Faheem Inayatali, Founder, Therapeutic Optometrist at Eye Center of Houston, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in eye care.

Since 2015, Dr. Inayatali has served as the chief executive officer and a therapeutic optometrist at the Eye Center of Houston. Licensed to practice eye care in the states of Louisiana and Texas, he was honored as a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, an earned distinction held by less than 4% of optometrists in the United States. Dr. Inayatali is a member of the American Society of Optometric Surgeons to perform oculofacial surgery and early cancer detection. As a testament to his success, he received the SBA Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2017 and the Cooper Vision’s Best Practice Award in 2020.

Long dedicated to the treatment of ocular diseases, Dr. Inayatali has long stressed the fragility of eyesight, as well as its importance to the overall wellness of his pediatric patients. Before embarking upon his career, he earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and biology from the University of Houston in 2009 and a Doctor of Optometry in 2013. Following this accomplishment, he graduated from Rice University with a Master of Business Administration in 2015 with a concentration in healthcare management. Looking toward the future, Dr. Inayatali will obtain a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University in 2022 and execute randomized clinical trials to protocolize dry eye disease around the world.

In 2021, he established the Dry Eye & Specialty Center that focused on medical eye care including advanced dry eye disease and specialty lens fittings for patients with Keratoconus corneal disease. Civically, Dr. Inayatali is the founder and president of the board of Eye-Give-Sight, a non-profit organization that provides eye care and glasses to individuals in need. Additionally, he has established a scholarship foundation for students aspiring to be healthcare professionals who are empowered to give back to society. Within the next five years, Dr. Inayatali hopes to expand the scope of his nonprofit organization to various indigent countries and consult further with both students and professionals as a global ambassador for pediatric eye health.
