Natasa Obradovic, MD, Medical Doctor at Southwellness LLC and Southwellness COVID Solutions, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in family medicine.
Throughout the course of her childhood in Serbia, Dr. Obradovic became her mother’s primary caretaker after she was diagnosed with an illness, which led to the discovery of her natural aptitude for helping others. In 2013, she attained a Doctor of Medicine from the Avalon School of Medicine, but was unable to complete her residency due to her own diagnosis with breast cancer. Resilient throughout her 15 months of chemotherapy, Dr. Obradovic continued to work every day at Southwellness LLC, where she gained initial experience as the assistant to Dr. Tyler Southwell.
Presently, Dr. Obradovic excels as a medical doctor at Southwellness LLC, as well as Southwellness COVID Solutions, where she cares for both pediatric and elderly patients. The goal of Southwellness is to change the paradigm of what primary care can be, with a focus on humanism and responsiveness through building relationships with members and helping patients maintain dignity in the face of challenges to health and wellness. Well versed in conducting stem cell research and regenerative therapy, Dr. Obradovic took on her roles with the clinic in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Obradovic works to offer therapeutic options for afflicted patients, as she hopes to be there for patients during a difficult moment of their lives. Despite its challenges, she believes the pandemic brought out the best in people and medical professionals. Southwellness notably offers free COVID testing and works to educate the community on ravages of the virus. To wit, Dr. Obradovic has recorded all of the symptoms of her patients, with the goal of eventually publishing her findings.
Looking toward the future, Dr. Obradovic’s goal is to establish a safe place where patients can convalesce. Likewise, she would like to educate people on how to properly wear masks, use hand sanitizers and encourage them to wear gloves, as well as instruct them in quarantine procedure. She would also like to expand the clinic’s reach through educating other doctors from Mexico and countries in Europe. Presently, Dr. Obradovic maintains her affiliation with the American Board of Family Medicine and Oncology Associations.
