Dr. Justus’ father was an orthodontist and her mother was also in the field. She was always in their office and felt inspired to pursue it as her career. She earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Universidad Tecnologica del Mexico in 1996. She then received a Master of Science in dentistry and a certificate in orthodontics from the University of Washington in 1999. Upon completion of her degrees, Dr. Justus became a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Justus began her career as a full-time faculty member at Oregon Health and Science University in 2000, where she remained until 2004. Since 2006, she has been an orthodontist at Justus Orthodontics. In March of 2021, she also became an adjunct associate professor with the Department of Orthodontics at Oregon Health and Science University. She enjoys teaching and wants continued professional growth in the future. As a testament to her success, Dr. Justus has been inducted as a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and the Oregon Dental Association.
