Backed by extensive educational training, Ms. Fusillo received an Associate of Arts from Montgomery Junior College in 1969, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland in 1971, an Associate’s degree in nursing from Daytona Beach Community College in 1986 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 1988. Additionally, she achieved a Master of Science from National Louis University in 1992 and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa in 2002, along with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies degree from Loyola University in 2014 and post-Master’s certification in palliative care from Vanderbilt University in 2016. To attest to her legacy, Ms. Fusillo can also be found in the fourth and fifth editions of Who’s Who in American Nursing and the 22nd through 28th editions of Who’s Who of American Women.
