Later in his career, Dr. Tambay completed an additional residency in interventional spine and pain medicine at the Alabama Orthopedics and Spine Center and served as a physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, both in 2006. Alongside his primary endeavors, Dr. Tambay has served as a medical consultant to several sports-related organizations, such as Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the Association of Tennis Professionals, the Women’s Tennis Association and the Ladies Professional Golf Association. He has further consulted for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Lending his expertise to creative works as well, Dr. Tambay is the co-author of “Electromyographic Analysis of Specific Exercises for Scapular Control in Early Phases of Shoulder Rehabilitation.” To remain abreast of developments in his field, he has maintained affiliation with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Spinal Interventional Society and the North American Spine Society.
