For as long as she can remember, Dr. Damask has had a desire to help others. After completing high school, she enrolled at Northwestern University. By 1993, she earned a Bachelor of Arts, which provided her with a platform on which to further her education. In 1999, she achieved a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. In the years that followed, she completed her required internship and residency at the Doctors Hospital/Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. By 2004, Dr. Damask had completed a chief residency in otolaryngology at the aforementioned institution.

Licensed to practice medicine in the states of New York, Florida and North Carolina, Dr. Damask began her career as an otolaryngologist at Cape Fear Otolaryngology in 2004. From there, she proceeded to work at HCA Physician Services, Florida Regional ENT, LLC and Lake Mary Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy. Dr. Damask continues to demonstrate success at the latter practice today alongside her work as an assistant professor of otolaryngology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She is additionally a board member for the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and served as a member of the Summer Sinus Symposium’s faculty for the American Rhinologic Society in 2020.

As a testament to Dr. Damask’s professional success, she earned the Golden Apple Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology, as well as a presidential recognition from the esteemed organization. Reflecting on her accomplishments, she attributes her success to multiple great mentorships. A well-respected member of her field, Dr. Damask maintains affiliation with numerous professional groups. These include the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. Looking toward the future, she hopes to contribute more to the education of her colleagues and young residents in training.
