Inspired by his mother who found much success in the healthcare industry, Dr. Weber sought to pursue a career in medicine after graduating from high school. In 1978, he earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Dakota, going on to achieve a Doctor of Medicine from the aforementioned institution in 1982. By 1986, Dr. Weber completed a residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, which provided him with the necessary foundation on which to begin his career.

In 1986, Dr. Weber commenced his career as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Mayo Clinic Health System. In the years that followed, he quickly demonstrated his profound skills, which earned him numerous promotions. From 1994 until 1996, he served as the chief of staff, going on to become the regional chair of obstetrics and gynecology. He additionally serves as the chair of the credentials committee within the hospital alongside his participation with the Wisconsin Maternal Mortality Committee. As a testament to his professional success, Dr. Weber earned the Meritorious Service Award from the State Medical Society of Wisconsin in 2001. When he is not working, he enjoys researching history, traveling, and appreciating football, baseball, golf and hockey.
