Johnnie Cameron Hall, MD, FCAP, Pathologist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Dr. Hall became involved in pathology after unearthing his passion for tracing the origins of disease and accurately diagnosing patients. In 1980, he earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from David Lipscomb College. Four years later, he attained an MD from the University of Tennessee, going on to become certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Pathology.
Dr. Hall began his career at the University of Tennessee as a resident in pathology in 1986. By 1988, he became a surgical pathology fellow, proceeding to be hired as a pathologist with the Pathology Group of the Midsouth in 1989. He remains in this role today, continuing to demonstrate success as a direct result of his love for his work. One of the highlights of Dr. Hall’s career was setting up human testing for the human papillomavirus in his lab. Another highlight was his time on the institutional review board at the hospital from 1991 until 2016. In the coming years, Dr. Hall hopes to be as productive as possible. As a testament to his success, he is featured in numerous editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who in the World.
