Elizabeth Wooster-Pierson, MD at Pella Regional Medical Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in family medicine.
Growing up with an inherent interest in science, Dr. Wooster-Pierson loved to learn. When it came time for her to pursue a formal education, she earned a Bachelor of Science from Concordia University in 2010. Four years later, she successfully acquired a Doctor of Medicine from the Creighton University School of Medicine. She proceeded to complete her required residency at Lincoln Family Medicine, subsequently earning her medical license in the states of Nebraska and Iowa. Moreover, Dr. Wooster-Pierson has since become certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Since 2017, Dr. Wooster-Pierson has excelled as a physician at the Pella Regional Health Center. She immensely enjoys her work and how it gives her the opportunity to combine her interests in science and helping others. Reflecting on her success thus far, she credits God, her parents and several excellent professors for her profound success. Dr. Patricia Sams and Dr. Kristy Kime played an integral role in her graduation from medical school, for which Dr. Wooster-Pierson is endlessly grateful.
To remain aware of advancements and changes in her field, Dr. Wooster-Pierson maintains affiliation with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. In light of her accomplishments, she earned the title of Outstanding Student in Family Medicine. Outside of her professional ventures, Dr. Wooster-Pierson enjoys spending time with her dogs and gardening. Looking toward the future, she hopes to continue working at Pella Regional Health Center and potentially become a faculty member at Creighton University.
