Inspired by the influence of her parents, two emergency room doctors, Dr. Herold chose to pursue a career in the medical field in order to provide patients with proper guidance and healing. Now board certified in family medicine, she is a doctor of osteopathic medicine at Baylor Scott & White Health in Frisco, Texas, offering her professional expertise since 2017. Known for providing quality and compassionate care through open communication with patients, Dr. Herold notably received a Rising Star’s Award in 2019. To attest to her renowned reputation, Dr. Herold offers a full range of primary care services including the management of acute and chronic diseases, preventive medicine and women’s health. She also has interest in functional medicine, travel medicine and skin care.
After attending Anderson University in South Carolina, Dr. Herold achieved a Doctor of Medicine from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia in 2014. Upon completing her medical requirements, she excelled at an internship and residency in family medicine at the Anmed Health Family Medicine in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Today, Dr. Herold holds membership with the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Osteopathic Association, and also volunteers in the children’s ministry at Hope Fellowship. In five years’ time, she would like to open her own practice and offer her expertise to budding physicians, as well as new patients of all backgrounds. With her large family, Dr. Herold enjoys fishing, traveling, attending sporting events and spending time outside in her spare time.
