In the past, Dr. Sayegh excelled as a clinical laboratory director of Premier Medical and as a nationwide laboratory consultant for Star Medical Corporation.
In preparation for his illustrious career, Dr. Sayegh earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and biology from the University of Mobile in 1982. Subsequently, he received a Bachelor of Science in health sciences from the University of South Alabama in 1983 and a second Bachelor of Science in medical technology from Anderson Memorial Hospital School of Medical Technology in 1985. Soon thereafter, Dr. Sayegh secured a Master of Science in health sciences with emphasis on hematology/oncology and a Doctor of Medicine from the American University School of Medicine in Coral Gables Florida, further completing post-graduate training in general surgery with an emphasis on emergency non-trauma minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery from the University of Southern California.
To remain aware of developments in the field, Dr. Sayegh retains a professor relationship with the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the American Immunology Association, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Association of Clinical Chemistry, and The Clinical Laboratory Management Association. For his accomplishments in the field, Dr. Sayegh won the St. Mary’s Hospital Certificate of Excellence Award, the Medical Microbiology Certificate of Excellence Award, the Lorraine O’Hare Award for Dedication through Palladia Incorporated and a Top Doctor Award for Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Abdominal Surgery in 2016 and 2017. He attributes his outstanding success to his wife, Inam, who has supported him through every step of his career. In the coming years, Dr. Sayegh aims to become more involved in both the technical and academic aspects of the field of medicine.
