With 15 years of professional experience, Dr. Ryan has been a primary care sports physician with MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center since 2015, also serving on the clinical faculty with the family medicine department and as the sports racing provider. In addition to her primary roles, she has been an assistant team physician with the Baltimore Brigade of the Arena Football League since 2016, as an assistant team physician with Towson University since 2016 and as medical director of Laurel Race Track since 2015. Earlier in her career, Dr. Ryan was a medical laboratory technologist with LifeBridge Sinai Hospital from 2004 to 2011 and MedStar Good Samaritan from 2008 to 2009.
Dr. Ryan first pursued an education at Villa Julie College, where she obtained an Associate of Science in medical laboratory technology in 2004. She continued her studies with the school, completing a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology in 2006. She then joined the Philadelphia College School of Medicine, earning a DO in 2011. Dr. Ryan then joined MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, serving as a family medicine resident from 2011 to 2014 and chief resident from 2013 to 2014. She subsequently held a fellowship of primary care sports medicine with the University of Maryland.
