Roberta Rubin, Retired Pathologist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care and pathology.
Dr. Rubin attended the State University of New York in Brooklyn, graduating with an MD in 1958. She started as a staff pathologist at the Maimonides-Coney Island Medical Center, garnering experience from 1964 to 1967, and subsequently worked as an associate pathologist at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center from 1967 to 1968. For 30 years, she served as a pathologist at the Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, additionally acting as the laboratory director of the Livingston Community Hospital from 1987 to 1988. Dr. Rubin additionally worked as the director of MDS Laboratory in Wayne, New Jersey, from 1973 to 1989, and retired in 1998 after more than 30 years of professional experience in the health care field.
Certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology, Dr. Rubin shared her experience and knowledge as a clinical instructor of pathology at the State University of New York in Brooklyn from 1964 to 1967. She also served the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx from 1967 to 1968, and has contributed to numerous journal publications. Dr. Rubin has maintained affiliation with numerous organizations related to her field, including the Foundation of the American Medical Women’s Association, the National Council on Women’s Health, the New Jersey Society of Pathologists and the American Medical Women’s Association. She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists, and is most proud of her involvement with the American Medical Women’s Association. Dr. Rubin advises aspiring professionals to focus on the patients first.
