At a young age, Dr. Bhayani became intrigued by medical television shows, which later inspired him to seek a career in medicine. Upon graduating from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 1998, he attended the Ross University School of Medicine and received an MD in 2003.  Consequently, Dr. Bhayani completed a residency in internal medicine at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center between 2003 and 2006. Soon thereafter, Dr. Bhayani pursued a fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago and became a consulting physician for Infectious Disease Doctors PA from 2008 until 2016.

Most recently, Dr. Bhayani has excelled as the owner of his eponymously-named practice. He has also been active as a physician advisor with Texas Health Resources. As an infectious disease specialist, Dr. Bhayani’s responsibilities include clinical care and medical administration, as well as communicating with various hospitals, clinical pharmacies and administrators to ensure that medical policies and safeguards are in place to prevent hospital-acquired infections.

A respected physician, he has conducted research into the visual system of cats and monkeys. Moreover, Dr. Bhayani also studied how those systems extract information about boundaries from differences in color, motion, luminance, texture, perspective and shading. To remain abreast of developments in the medical field, Dr. Bhavani maintains a professional relationship with the Infectious Disease Society of America, the Texas Medical Society, and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

For his many achievements thus far, Dr. Bhayani has been recognized as a Top Doctor in Greater Fort Worth since 2012. He additionally accepted the Physician of the Year Award from Texas Health Arlington Memorial and a Recognition Award from the Illinois Math and Sciences Academy for mentoring students and developing a rapid HIV testing protocol at the University of Illinois, Chicago Medical Center Emergency Room.
