Initially unsure of which direction he wanted to go professionally, Dr. Glock decided to pursue a medical career upon graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 1969. He attended the West Virginia University School of Medicine and earned a Doctor of Medicine in 1973. Furthermore, he completed an internship and a residency from the University Medical Center of Jacksonville between 1973 and 1976. He also received additional certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Since 1976, Dr. Glock has served as an internist with his company, Internal Medical Group Inc. A specialist in internal medicine with a sub-specialty in geriatric medicine, Dr. Glock and the team at his practice provide services in acute illness, preventive care, health education, wellness exams, and vaccinations. In addition to his primary endeavor, he also serves as the medical director of the Baptist Agewell Institute. Civically, Dr. Glock is a board member of the Florida Society of Internal Medicine and contributes as an ambassador for Seniors on a Mission. An exceptional Marquis listee, Dr. Glock has been featured in four editions of Who’s Who in America. In the coming years, he plans to go into retirement. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, skiing and fishing in his spare time. Dr. Glock and his wife, Leslie, have four adult children and seven beautiful grandchildren.
