William Michael Bolak, Endodontist at a private practice, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Bolak pursued an education in chemistry at Cornell University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1972. During that time, individuals were being drafted for the Vietnam War and there was an abundance of engineers and science professionals. Dr. Bolak decided to be self-directed and self-employed, and he obtained a DMD at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1976, enlisted in the military, and until 1979, he served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Bolak holds a certification in endodontics from the University at Buffalo and has operated a private practice in Plano, Texas, since 1979. Additionally, he spent time teaching as an assistant professor at the Baylor College of Dentistry from 1994 to 1996.
As the former president of the DFW Metroplex Endodontics Society, Dr. Bolak is most proud of caring for people and helping to relieve them of pain. In 1989, he received a Dentist Scientist Award from the National Institute of Health. Dr. Bolak is a former member of the International Association for Dental Research and a current member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the American Dental Association. As a testament to his success, he has been featured in the first edition of Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America and in multiple editions of Who’s Who in the West.
