Dr. Renuart attended the University of Florida, where he earned an Associate of Arts in 1984 and a Bachelor of Science in 1986. From 1985 to 1986, he worked as an emergency medical technician for various organizations, and continued his academic pursuits at Nova Southeastern University of Health Sciences, where he earned a DO in 1990. Following his graduation, Dr. Renuart started as an intern in osteopathic medicine at Metropolitan Governor Hospital, where he served until 1991. He then transitioned to a position as a resident in internal medicine at the University of Florida. From 1994 to 1996, he worked as an internist at Lynch, Vetere & Renuart, and from 1996 to 2000, he leveraged his experience and skills as an internist for the Baptist/St. Vincents Primary Care Network. He additionally served as the chief of the department of medicine at Baptist Medical Center Beaches from 1998 to 2001.
Since 2000, Dr. Renuart has worked as an internist at Baptist Primary Care, and from 2004 to 2005, he served as the chief of staff for Baptist Medical Center Beaches. In addition to his medical career, he has devoted his time to civic pursuits, serving as a member of Districts 18 and 17 of the Florida House of Representatives from 2008 to 2015, and as president of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association from 2017 to 2018. Dr. Renuart also devoted himself to military service as a colonel in the Florida Army National Guard from 1990 to 2010, as a field surgeon during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003, and as a chief medical officer from 2004 to 2010. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and as a testament to his success, stature, and experience, Dr. Renuart has been featured in the 56th edition of Who’s Who in America, as well as multiple editions of Who’s Who in American Politics, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
