Michel Laham, Physician, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of cancer immunology.

Highly experienced and knowledgeable in his profession, Dr. Laham has made tremendous advancements in the field of oncology. He practices privately in San Antonio, Texas, while also holding esteemed positions within various health care facilities. He is a courtesy staff member within the departments of medicine at both the Metropolitan Methodist Hospital and Santa Rosa Medical Center. Previously, Dr. Laham has been the chief of the department of medicine within the Brooke Army Medical Center as well as assistant chief of allergy service at the center as he achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel within the US Army. Furthermore, Dr. Laham currently teaches as an associate clinical professor within the department of medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and used to be an associate clinical professor within the department of pediatrics at the institution.

Due to his success, Dr. Laham has been afforded membership with organizations such as the American Association of Certified Allergists, the Joint Council of Allergy and Immunology, the San Antonio Allergy Society, the Bexar County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society and Phi Alpha Theta. He is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He has previously served as co-chairman with the Institutional Review Board at Humana Hospital Metropolitan and continually strives to contribute to the field of cancer research and immunotherapy.

In order to prepare for his career. Dr. Laham, graduated from the University of Florida, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in history and pre-medicine. He remained at the institution, earning a Doctor of Medicine, completing an internship in straight medicine, a residency in internal medicine, and specialty training in clinical immunology. Dr. Laham is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology as well as by the Board of Internal Medicine. As a testament to his success, Dr. Laham has been lauded with the Special Research Fellowship Award from the National Cancer Institute from 1974 to 1976, has been named a Texas Super Doctors from 2004 to 2019, and has been featured in both Who’s Who in Texas Historical Society and the International Who’s Who in Medicine in Cambridge, England.
