Previously, he excelled with the university as chief of radiology, radiology residency program director, MRI fellowship director, assistant professor and clinical instructor and cross-sectional imaging fellow. In total, Dr. Sethi has amassed more than 30 years of experience, during which time he has held several other noteworthy roles including staff radiologist for Harry S. Truman VA Medical Center, chair of the Kansas City VA Hospital Radiation Safety Committee, chair of the Kansas City VA Hospital Patient Satisfaction Committee, and director of medical students radiology curriculum at the University of Missouri.
Dr. Sethi was named Radiology Teacher of the Year by the University of Missouri, Columbia, on three occasions for his exceptional work in the field. He was the recipient of a Service Quality Hero Award from the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics, an Order of Socrates Award from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a Physician’s Recognition Award. At the core of his accomplishments is his education. Dr. Sethi holds an MBBS from the University of Delhi, as well as an MD from the same university. He is a diplomate of the National Board of Radiology and the American Board of Radiology. Considered an expert in his field, he has shared his expertise as a contributor to several scientific papers and presentations in his field. Dr. Sethi also holds memberships with the American College of Radiology, the American Medical Association, the Missouri State Radiological Society, the Missouri State Medical Association, the Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology and the Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopists. Looking ahead, Dr. Sethi intends to continue working in his field while seeking new opportunities within the industry to make an impact.
