Veronique N. Valliere, PsyD, been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in trauma and intervention.

An award-winning Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Dr. Valliere demonstrates an expertise in treating victims of inner-personal violence, including sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. She entered this field because she always wanted to make a difference and felt that she could do so by impacting women and children affected by trauma. Since 2003, she has worked as the president of Valliere & Counseling Associates, Inc., in Folesville, PA. At the same time, she has been a board member of the Pennsylvania Sexual Offender Assessment Board in Harrisburg, PA. Previously, she found success as the director of outpatient services for Treatment Trends and board member of the Edison Court, Inc. Notably in her career, Dr. Valliere established a program called “Right From the Start: Intervening the Violence Against Women and Children,” which is an annual conference aimed at training prosecutors, law enforcement and clinicians in addressing violence and trauma through proper intervention strategies. This year, the conference celebrates its 10th Anniversary.

Dr. Valliere prepared for her career by first pursuing and completing her education, which includes a Doctor of Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University earned in 1993. In recognition of her professional excellence, she was the recipient of an Outstanding Community Service Award in 2007 from the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape.  Considered an expert in her industry, she remains at the top of her field through her memberships with the American Psychological Association, the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, the American College of Forensic Examiners and APSAC. Looking ahead to the future, Dr. Valliere has ambitions of establishing a more formalized training environment for her intervention program. In addition, she sees herself putting out a professional manuscript, which she intends to publish in July 2019.
