Today, Dr. Geldner leads his team in private practice at two offices of The Geldner Center in Chicago, IL, and Hinsdale, IL. Since 2003, he has been offering life-changing enhancement and progressive, patient-focused care through plastic surgery. His areas of expertise include breast, body and face procedures, included but not limited to breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, liposuction, tummy tuck, rhinoplasty, lip enhancements and brow lifts. In addition, Dr. Geldner offers services for men, such as abdominoplasty, face and neck lift, and liposuction. A full-service practice catering to a range of needs, they also offer non-surgical procedures including CoolSculpting, facials and chemical peels, hair removal, light therapy and injectables.

Dr. Geldner entered his profession because he always wanted to be a doctor; he felt it was the greatest way to serve others. To prepare for his career, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University in 1979 followed by an MD from the University of Wisconsin in 1983. From there, he completed two residencies in plastic surgery. The first occurred from 1987 to 1988 at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, immediately followed by the second at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, in 1988. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Geldner established himself professionally in Chicago, IL, in the early 1990s as the deputy chief of the division of plastic surgery at Michael Reese Hospital and attending surgeon in plastic surgery at the Illinois Masonic Hospital. In addition, he shared his knowledge as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Illinois starting in 1990. He continues to teach today.

Regarded by his peers as a powerhouse and an expert in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Geldner has been afforded many opportunities within his industry to impact an make a difference. With the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgery, he has served as president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and membership coordinator. With the Chicago Medical Society, he has served as chairman, physician review committee member and fee mediation committee member. Dr. Geldner has also held memberships with the Illinois State Medical Society, the Michael Reese Hospital, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Medical Association. In recognition of his professional excellence, Dr. Geldner was the recipient of a Novo Award from the National Council of Leaders in Breast Aesthetics and a Talk of the Town Chicago Award. Additionally, he was featured in Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Americas Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumers Research Council of America, America’s Cosmetic Doctors and Dentists by Castle Connolly, and Top Doctors: Chicago Metro Area by Castle Connolly. As he looks ahead to the future, Dr. Geldner intends to continue providing top care as a plastic surgeon while taking on new opportunities to impact his field.
