Kenneth Cook has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in radiology.
With more than 35 years of professional experience, Dr. Cook has held a private practice since 1987. In addition to his primary role, he served as chair of the management committee at Radiology Associates from 1997 to 2012, as a staff radiologist at the Spohn Memorial Medical Center from 1987 to 1999, and chief of radiology at Bay Area Medical Center from 1993 to 1999. Dr. Cook previously held a number of positions with the Hospital of South Texas from 1989 to 1996, including chair, vice chair, trustee, and chair of the management commission. From 1998 to 2018, he was an assistant clinical professor at the University of Texas, San Antonio, medical director of Del Mar College Ultrasound Technological School, and chief of Corpus Christi Medical Center.
Dr. Cook began his career as a student a Hutchinson Community College, where he obtained an Associate of Arts in 1976. He then joined the University of Kansas, completing a Bachelor of Arts in 1979. He continued his studies with the school, earning a Doctor of Medicine in 1983. He subsequently held a residency of diagnostic radiology with the University of Kansas Medical Center until 1987. Dr. Cook is a diplomate of the American College of Radiology and a licensed private pilot. Throughout his career, Dr. Cook has been recognized for his contributions. He has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who in the World.
