Ching S. Tsay, MD, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in anesthesiology.

Dr. Tsay is an award-winning medical professional whose contributions to the field of anesthesiology are highly regarded within his professional community. Retired since 2006, he dedicated a total of 39 years to his profession, during which time he demonstrated an expertise in perioperative care, developing anesthetic plans, and the administration of anesthetics. He is most known for his work with the Community Health Center in Branch County, MI, where colleagues remember him as someone who enjoyed what he did and shared his passion with others in his field. In fact, when asked of his success in his career, Dr. Tsay notes that he was constantly driven by his strong interest in anesthesiology, which led to the development of his skills and subsequent execution of excellent care.

Before establishing himself professionally, Dr. Tsay earned an MD from Kaohsiung Medical College in Taiwan in 1964. He completed an internship at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Staten Island, NY, in 1968, a residency in anesthesiology at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Joliet, IL, in 1969, and a residency in anesthesiology at Washington Hospital Center in 1971. Distinguished as a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Tsay supported his career through his memberships with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists, and the International Anesthesia Research Society. In recognition of his professional excellence, he has been featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who’s Who in the World. Looking toward the future, Dr. Tsay intends to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
