Arnold Bierman, Optometrist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in eye health.
Dr. Bierman has more than four decades of experience which lends itself to providing top quality care in ensuring eye health in patients. What sets him apart from his contemporaries is his holistic approach to treating patients. This enables him to treat visual stress typically ignored by other practitioners which allows him to change the quality of people’s lives. Dr. Bierman also feels his success is based on his tenacity and persistence while overcoming obstacles. In his line of care, he specializes in treating children and adults with reading problems.
To prepare for a career in eye care and health, Dr. Bierman attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and graduated with honors in 1968. He stayed on board at the institution as a clinical instructor and then as an assistant professor from 1968 to 1979. He taught courses in care analysis and clinical optometry. The year 1968 was an important date in Dr. Bierman’s career for a number of reasons, including beginning his practice. In 1972, Dr. Bierman became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He believes his professional growth has been aided by his commitment to learning throughout his career.
In his career, Dr. Bierman has maintained affiliation with a variety of organizations. These include being a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society, as well as the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, the Bucks-Montgomery Optometric Society, the Optometric Extension Program and the College of Optometrists and Visual Development. Dr. Bierman provides vision correction procedures and therapies including preventative eye care CRT-related exams, vision therapy, non-surgical reduction of nearsightedness and behavioral vision care among many other procedures. In his career, Dr. Bierman has contributed to numerous articles and professional journals.
