He has since become a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Gastroenterology.

A leading voice in his fields of interest, Dr. Goldberg maintains affiliation with several industry-related organizations, including the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is additionally a member of the New York County Medical Society, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the American Medical Association.

The author of “The Inside Tract: The Complete Guide to Digestive Disorders,” published in 1982, Dr. Goldberg has accrued several accolades throughout the course of his impressive career. He has notably been elected a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. In addition, he was recognized by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for excellent standards and was the recipient of the Physicians Recognition Award with Commendation from the American Medical Association. Furthermore, he was listed in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who’s Who in the World.
