Chowdhury Ahsan, MD, FACC, FSCAI, Clinical Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in cardiology.

A leading expert in the field of medicine, Dr. Ahsan has been a clinical professor with the University of Nevada School of Medicine since 2008. Furthermore, he is a consultant cardiologist with the Nevada Heart and Vascular Center. Prior to obtaining his current positions, he worked with the University of California, Irvine Medical Center as an associate professor and director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory. He holds a medical license in the state of Nevada and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. In addition, he has CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification and All in One EMR.

Dr. Ahsan holds a Doctor of Medicine from Dhaka Medical College and a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical pharmacology and general medicine from the University of Southampton. He has served in an interventional cardiology fellowship with the Mount Sinai Medical Center, and he completed postgraduate coursework in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease with the University of Pennsylvania and the Drexel College of Medicine.

For his efforts, Dr. Ahsan has received a Gold Medal in Medicine from Dhaka Medical College and Young Investigators’ Awards from the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
