Since 2010, Dr. Haque has served as medical director of the NOOR Community Clinic with the Thomas E. Rardin Family Practice Center at Ohio State University, having founded the clinic. Her parents wanted her to pursue a different field so Dr. Haque first enrolled in a free university, going on to receive an additional Gold Medal before attending medical school. She earned an MD from the Stanley Medical College and an MBBS from the Madras Medical College. She interned at the Miriam Hospital at Brown University and completed a residency in pediatrics at the New Jersey College of Medicine Children’s Hospital. Furthermore, she was a fellow in developing disabilities with Ohio State University.
Active in her community, Dr. Haque has been engaged with the Board of Regents for the Islamic Medical Association of North America. She was on the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Foundation of Central Ohio from 2006 to 2009 and a trustee of the Asian American Health Alliance Network from 1994 to 2001. She is a charter founder of the Ronald Reagan Representative Center. Dr. Haque has maintained professional affiliation with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals and Healthcare Organizations, the Pediatrics Academy Association, the Ambulatory Pediatrics Association, the Central Ohio Pediatric Society, the Culturally Diverse Patient Care, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Islamic Medical Association, the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
Consistently named as One of American’s Top Pediatrician by the Consumer’s Research Council of America, Dr. Haque uses every day to make a difference in her patient’s lives. She cites her greatest highlight as setting up and working at the NOOR Community Free Clinic, where patients don’t have to worry about prescriptions or bills and can focus on becoming healthy.
