Dr. Khan founded M Khan Dermatology in 2015, and is the current president of her firm. She attributes her mentors at Harvard University and Northwestern University for her success, and entered the profession out of an interest in her own skin issues as a child. After dealing with conditions on her own body, dermatology “sort of softened her issues.” Before medical school, Dr. Khan attended professional training in art, and still expresses her passion in painting. She has made numerous concentrations toward the research of human fat and in the field of laser surgery, two vital components of dermatology.

As a board certified dermatologist, Dr. Khan specializes in skin cancer surgery, fat surgery, and laser surgery. She is known for developing diagnostic and therapeutic applications of lasers in dermatology and oncology. In 2017, Dr. Khan was made an honoree of Continental AG. She now specializes in fixing problems created by others, including difficult cases and complicated cases in the cause of supporting her peers.

Dr. Khan is an artist at heart, and has ample passion for it with charcoals and paints. She was a noted painter and sculptor before medical school, and regards cosmetic surgery as a type of art. Dr. Khan also holds two black belts in martial arts training, and has practiced the discipline for the last seven years. In her free time, she enjoys photography and travel, connecting everything with art. Dr. Khan has notably set foot on both poles of planet Earth, and particularly enjoys Scandinavia.
