Dr. Alexander M. Swan, President and Chief Executive Officer at Nephrology Hypertension Renal Transplant & Renal Therapy, LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Medicine.

Dr. Swan was presented with an Alpha Omega Alpha Faculty Volunteer Award in 2017 by the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, in recognition of a medical career going back to the 1980s. His expertise is in kidney conditions, including kidney stones, kidney failure, general nephrology, and related conditions such as high blood pressure. From transplants to renal therapy, Dr. Swan has built a record of medical success in the New York area, contributing to numerous collaborations and committees.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Swan studied with the University of Medicine 1, Yangnon, the oldest medical school in Myanmar. He was notably a chief resident at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, and later a clinical educator for Medical Educators for Humanity. Dr. Swan has been a member in good standing with the medical community, going back to his status as an honorable board member of the institutional review board committee at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York.

After his role with Lennox Hill, Dr. Swan continued to contribute to area medical centers, notably with the Raritan Bay Medical Center in the Perth Amboy and Old Bridge divisions. He was notably a cardiac care unit committee member, an intensive care committee member, and a quality assurance committee member until 2010. From 2000 to 2012, Dr. Swan was on the critical care committee of the JFK Medical Center in New Jersey.
