Jesse Nelson Mills, MD, Doctor at the University of California, Los Angeles, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Medicine.
Dr. Mills is currently the director of the Men’s Clinic at UCLA, where he has served since 2016. Since 2015, he has taught at the affiliated David Geffen School of Medicine as an associate clinical professor of Urology. Before assuming his current position, Dr. Mills founded the Center for Men’s Health at the Urology Center of Colorado and was a staff urologist there. He has been recognized since 2013 with America’s Top Surgeons, has been named Top Urologist in Colorado by HealthTap.com since 2013, and is one of America’s Top Urologists since 2010.
An alumnus of the UCLA, Dr. Mills earned a BA, cum laude, in 1994, and went on to a MD from the University of Iowa in 2001. He interned with the University of Colorado in general surgery, and served a residency in urology before earning a fellowship in male reproductive medicine and surgery from Baylor College of Medicine. He was licensed to practice in California and Colorado, and is certified with the American Board of Urology as well as the National Institutes of Health. In addition to his role as a medical director, Dr. Mills is a national proctor of Coloplast, and American Medical Systems, as well as a key opinion leader of Endo Pharmaceuticals and AbbVie Inc.
Dr. Mills has given much to his medical field, and was an emcee and event organizer of the 2008 Urology Center of Colorado Annual State of the Art CME Symposium. He specialized in urology to help infertile couples become parents, and is a board member of the Ed Randall Foundation, Fans for the Cure, as well as the Cathy Scott Foundation for Spinal Cord Injury Fertility Financial Assistance. Dr. Mills has also volunteered as a medical advisor of Healthtap.com and a staff surgeon with Doctor’s Care, which provides medical attention to the uninsured. In addition to membership with numerous medical societies, he is a founding member of the American Society for Men’s Health.
