Mark Edward Landry, DPM, MS, Podiatrist and Researcher at Midwest Orthopedics Foot and Ankle, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Medicine.

Dr. Landry has maintained a general practice in podiatry since 1977, and his current practice in Overland Park has been in operation since 1980. He has led a prolific career as an instructor, as well, most recently with the school of medicine of the University of Missouri, and is noted for his service as the continuing medical education director of the Kansas Podiatric Medical Association from 1996 to 2017. Dr. Landry is most proud of his experiences with the U.S. Air Force from 1975 to 1977, where he served to the rank of first lieutenant.

As a youth, Dr. Landry was good at biology and excelled with memorizing mass details. He was the top of his tenth-grade biology class and had a good friend that made becoming a doctor look attractive. Dr. Landry attended the Ohio School of Podiatric Medicine, now the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, to earn a doctorate in podiatry in 1975. In addition to practice and teaching, Dr. Landry has served the advisory board of the Rockport Shoe Company, and as head coach of the Catholic Youth Organization Basketball. Naturally, Dr. Landry enjoys running marathons, triathlons, skiing, and speed walking. He is the proud father of John Ryan, Christopher John, and Jessica Marie with his wife, Mary Ann Kotey, and the grandfather of Madeleine and Henry.
